Had a pretty good week. Highlights, preparing for the tiger challenge and trying to find time to re focus on my goals. All of the personal achievements aside. The truly inspiring hard to measure part was the pitch in Canada beatification program. Sifu Reiger put this together again this year. This was the first year I participated. We as a group adopted a park in Stony Plain which also extended to the highway. In a few groups we picked up garbage left over from winter and careless disposal. In only an hour and a half we had covered our complete area, Due to the good turn out of Silent River faithful. I worked with the group that had most of the kids. I am humbled watching my five year old spend his Saturday morning walking along the highway picking up garbage. Along with garbage pick up Oliver has help me with the driveway we adopted this year and came out numerous times to help remove snow. I am so incredibly happy he is part of this journey with me. I am sure it will enrich his life with compassion and empathy.
